Scope of this notice
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you browse the Nicola Palma website or contact us through the contact form, email or telephone. The website presents the farm and an information catalogue. It does not offer online purchases, payments or newsletter subscriptions.
Data collected
The contact form requires your full name, email address, subject and message. Company name and telephone number are optional. Your acknowledgement of the privacy notice is recorded in the enquiry email. Please do not provide health information, identity documents or confidential information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Browsing may involve processing technical information such as IP address, request date and time, requested page, browser and server responses to operate and secure the website. Whether this information is recorded in logs depends on the service configuration.
Purposes and legal bases
- Handling enquiries and supplies: answering questions about products, packaging or partnerships and taking any pre-contractual steps requested by you, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- General correspondence: handling non-contractual communications based on the controller’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, Article 6(1)(f).
- Operation and security: preventing abuse and keeping the service operational based on the legitimate interest in IT security, Article 6(1)(f).
- Legal obligations: complying with applicable obligations, Article 6(1)(c).
The form’s checkbox acknowledges that you have read the notice. It is not consent to marketing or advertising, and the form does not use your data for those purposes.
Providing your data
Fields marked * are required to receive and handle an enquiry through the form. Without them, the form cannot be submitted. Company name and telephone number are optional and are not needed for an email reply.
Processing, recipients and retention
Messages are sent to info@aziendaagricolapalma.it through WordPress’s email system. The form does not create a separate archive of enquiries in the website database. Data may be processed by the controller, authorised staff and the technical providers required to operate the website and email service, in their respective legal roles. Information may be disclosed to authorities where required by law; it is not made public.
Enquiry data is retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and relevant subsequent correspondence. Further retention is limited to applicable legal obligations or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. The period depends on the correspondence, any contractual relationship and relevant legal time limits. Technical logs, where used, are kept only for a period proportionate to operational and security needs.
Hosting and technical providers
The public website is hosted on Aruba’s Hosting Easy Linux service and uses WordPress. Contact form enquiries are forwarded to the company email address shown in the contact details through the website’s email system.
Hosting and email providers may process the technical information and messages needed to operate the service. Contact the controller for information about the providers used, processing locations and any safeguards applicable to transfers outside the European Economic Area.
Cookies and external links
The current setup does not include analytics, advertising pixels, embedded videos or embedded maps. See the Cookie Policy for details. Polylang manages the Italian and English versions. Its technical language-preference cookie, if set, is described in that policy.
The “Find us” link opens Google Maps only when you choose to follow it. The external service’s terms and privacy information then apply.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions and limits in Articles 15–22 GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@aziendaagricolapalma.it to exercise your rights. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or seek a judicial remedy. The website does not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
